No Greater Love

The word martyr means "witness.” A martyr is the ultimate witness to the teachings of Christ. Can there be a greater love than to lay down your life for what you believe?

Blessed Be Your Name

If You Choose

If you choose you can keep the

We have a choice....God or "the world". 

Find your delight in the LORD who will give you your heart’s desire. (Psalm 37:4)

How lovely your dwelling, O LORD of hosts! My soul yearns and pines for the courts of the LORD. My heart and flesh cry out for the living God. (Psalm 84:2-3)

World Day For Consecrated Life

On this World Day For Consecrated Life, many special prayers of thanksgiving for the religious who have influenced my life, all of our lives, by their faithful witness. 

As I was talking to a parent after mass today, she shared that her daughter (3rd grade) has announced to her family that she wants to become a nun! Praise God for this gift and may many more hear and answer the call with a resounding "yes"!

L-O-V-E

There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment, and so one who fears is not yet perfect in love. (1John 4:18)
